Magnetic Flux Leakage

Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) inspection is known for its reliability and cost effective technology for in-line inspection available in the market since 1969. The industry has accepted MFL as a proven technology to meet the basic requirements for pipeline inspection to measure common and typical pipeline anomalies such as corrosion induced metal losses.

Our MFL tools are equipped with measurement systems based on the highest effective resolution couple with artificial intelligent algorithm to optimize accurate sizing of anomalies within the natural limitations of axial MFL technology. Through rigorous design and testing, we managed to produce shorter tool with relatively high wall thickness inspection capability.

The tools can detect and size metal loss anomalies such as general corrosion, pitting corrosion, scratches, gouges, circumferential cracks, girth welds anomalies and axially oriented anomalies.

XYZ mapping unit can be equipped to the tools to obtain both, metal loss inspection data and mapping data during a single run.
